With the SUPER DRIVE transplanter you can transplant 30-60 cm long plants with a 5-20 mm stem diameter.
On the SUPER DRIVE transplanter, two 400 cm diameter ridgers (see fig) are fitted for each transplanted unit, that are adjustable with support. The distance between one plant and the other varies from 8 to 70 cm and each row is 60 cm apart with a 10 to 20 cm depth. The mechanism bases itself on mechanical clamps that act to keep the plant perfectly straight and are operated by a chain device that is synchronized to the tractor's moving speed. For each single row, the transplanter is equipped with storage boxes, which can contain about 40-500 plants. The Super Drive transplanter can be built for 1 to 6 rows, according to the nursery manager's requirements. There is the need for a single operator for each row and it can position up to 3,000 plants per hour with maximum precision and ease.
