FUNCTIONS:

LOCALISING THE FUMIGANT SOLUTION:
A localising electric shielding is situated in the front part of the machine where the product is sprayed at low pressure, by fan-shaped jets and anti-drop device..

Although been a multi-purpose combine machine, BRAVA 2003 is a very compact machine: it allows to localise in the front part the liquid product through stainless steel equipment especially shielded and containing n° 10 fan-shaped distributors that menage to cover the whole surface to treat, even at low pressure. When the machine is lifted from the tractor, some special anti-drop devices stop the flow of the product to avoid useless leaks. They open again when the tractor starts the last pass with a pressure that varies according to the quantity of the delivered product (about 1-2 atm). The fumigant product is immediately distributed before the tilling element: the shielding avoids drifting problems and bad smells.

MIXING THE PRODUCT WITH EARTH:
A mixing breaker with 6 blades per flange, up to 220 mm depth, move by a central bevel gear with a 4 ratio speed change.

The mixing phase of the product in the earth occurs with an innovative tiller. In fact, it has been designed especially for this type pf work. It moves thanks to a central bevel gear pair at variable speed - 4 ratio speed change - that acts upon the side breakers ( these supplied with n° 6 blades per flange ) that then manage to reach a 15-22 cm depth. They also allow to keep low both the tractor rpm and the HP used to guarantee good mixing. This operation allows the product to be distibuted homogeneously, vertically and horizontally making it more efficient.

COMPACTING:
A compacting cage roller of large diameter to keeo a constant depth. It compacts the ground in a uniform way and starts the movements of the CDS-JOHN BLUE LM 2455 pump with variable capacity.

The roller has three functions: it keeps a constant working depth, it compacts the earth while substaining the machine, and it transmits the movement to the metering pump. BRAVA 2003 is equipped with a CDS-JOHN BLUE LM 2455 pump (positive-displacement with variable capacity which manages to deliver from 0 to 90 I SMP independently from the moving speed). The pump is connected to the tank by means of stainless steel pipefittings and tubes, filters on the suction and on the transfer. The transfer operation occurs safely and easily by means of stainless pump fixed on board of the machine.

SEALING OF THE SOIL:
Plain rear roller working hydraulically and adjustable according to the type of the soil. This further compacting of 2 to 3 cm closes "hermetically" the soil thus reducing drastically leaks due to the gasifying of the fumigant. This gives better efficiency of the product.

This operation completes the working cycle of BRAVA 2003. The motorised plain roller is controlled by means of a ratio-motor, from the hydraulic system to rge tractor. According to the type of soil it will be necessary to look for the best solution "syncronising" the engine rmp with the ratio-motor. The "mirror" surface of the soil guarantees a perfect seal of the fumigant gas, allows an efficient and much better weed-killing, antifungal and nematocidal and makes it possible not to have to use covering films.

It represents the most important innovative technology for distributing liquid fumigants, in particular for solutions with Sodium Metham and potassium Metham basis.

It garantees a perfect and homogeneous distribution in the contour of the soil allowing a major efficiency of the fumigant.
