3 PHASE FUNCTIONING:

Bed former for stump allows a progressive accumulation and cleaning of the ridge: these are the most important characteristics of this machine. Its working method is divided into 3 phases: during the first phase the BXC refills the soil. The Bed former, which ridging rollers are inverted to orientate the movement in the opposite sense, removes the grass that grows every day. Like this, it tears from the ridge the grass deposited in the lower part of the furrow, which is damaged during this procedure. After few days, to restore the ground it is enough to invert the rollers so that the machine can ridge again: .

Fase 1: BXC refills the soil and makes the bad thanks to its ridging rollers. They turn and push the soil up and force the rootstocks to be straight evoying any discard.

Fase 2: by inverting the mobement of the ridging rollers, BXC removes the grass. From the bed it take off the grass leaving down on the furrow which during this phase has been ruined.

Fase 3: To make the new bed. Invert the movement of the ridging rollers till the machine can make the bed again.

From a technical point of view, a BXC passage keeps the plant straight, upward, as the earth is moved nearer to the plant stems.
For this reason it is much easier to locate any tree or grass foreign to the crop
